Progress Being Made On Fund Raising For Career Construction Academy

Progress continues to be made in raising funds for a Career Construction Academy that would be located behind the Fond du Lac High School. Just over $850,000 of the estimated cost of $1.1 million for the project has been raised to date. District Superintendent Jim Sebert says they have reached a point where they will have to start making decisions about when construction should begin and how big the scope of the project should be. The School Board got an update on the Career Construction Academy during a workshop this week. The board has already pledged $500,000 in support of the project.
