Rain and Snow Possible Today, Arctic Blast Moves in for Mid-Week

A blast of cold air is in the forecast for the middle of
the week, after some unsettled weather for our Monday.

The National Weather Service says temperatures will start
in the low 30s today, with clouds and some fog and drizzle early this morning. Drizzle
will give way to a mix of rain and snow for today, as highs climb into the middle
to upper 30s.

After the system moves out of the region, cold air moves in
– as lows tonight are forecast to drop into the middle teens, with highs
Tuesday only climbing a few degrees to around 17. Highs Wednesday will only top
out around 10 above – despite sunshine in the forecast. The forecast calls for
temperatures to rebound to near 30 on Thursday and into the middle-to-upper 30s
for Friday and Saturday.
