Randolph House Fire And Fire Truck Accident

Area fire departments responded to a house fire near Randolph Friday morning. The fire was at W11202 Highway 33. Fox Lake Fire Department officials say residents were not at home at the time of the blaze. The fire was contained to the basement of the house and there was smoke damage. Meanwhile Randolph Fire officials say one of their trucks was hit by a car while on the way to the fire. That collision happened at the intersection of Pleasant Road and Dodge County Highway P.  Neither of the firefighters in the truck was injured. The driver of the car suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Beaver Dam Community Hospital. According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department the fire was reported at 10:42 a.m. and the accident at 11:20 a.m.
