Retrofitting Underway For Bank Of Oakfield FDL Branch

The Bank of Oakfield will be opening up their new branch in Fond du Lac in July. Fond du Lac Branch Manager Mike King says they were fortunate in that the former Convention and Visitors Bureau building on Pioneer Road won’t need much retrofitting to the inside to serve as a branch of the bank. He says, “The design is well laid out for us to have offices and our lobby space for customers. So, not much retrofitting to it besides the security cameras, like motion sensors, obviously the safe is in there too.” Vice President of Commercial Lending Scott Giltner says people know of the Bank of Oakfield, but it is important that they can also see it in a community. He says, “It is really going to be helpful being part of the community with the actual office right on, visible from Highway 41 on Pioneer Road as Mike said. So that’s going to be big for us to have that presence here on a consistent basis.” The Bank of Oakfield has its main branch in Oakfield with branches in Brandon, Van Dyne, and soon in Fond du Lac.
