RMC Auxiliary Awards 2014 Scholarships

Two area students with plans for careers in healthcare have received scholarships from the Ripon Medical Center Auxiliary.

            Recipients were chosen from among area high school seniors, pursuing a career in healthcare that plan to attend a college or university in Wisconsin.

            Scholarships will be awarded to students at the Ripon Medical Center Auxiliary luncheon at noon on Monday, June 16 at the hospital’s Green Lake Room.

McKenna Ryan, Oakfield Junior/Senior High School, and Celia Mueller (pictured), Berlin High School, will be receiving $1,000 scholarships from the Auxiliary.

Ryan plans to attend the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee to pursue an occupational therapy career. She looks forward to one day helping people regain the ability to function in their daily lives.

Mueller plans to attend the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, studying for a degree in medicine. She hopes to one day work with “Doctors Without Borders.”
