Robbery Suspect DNA Matches Man Who Died In Police Standoff

Markesan Police say the DNA evidence taken from the Agnesian Pharmacy robbery on June 27th matches that of a 33-year-old Redgranite man who died in a police standoff. Timothy Pawlacyk died during a standoff with Waushara County Sheriff’s deputies following the armed robbery of another pharmacy in Wautoma on August 14th. Police followed him from the robbery and his car got stuck in a construction zone. He then broke into an unoccupied home. The standoff lasted several hours. Markesan Police received official DNA results from the state crime lab Wednesday.
