Sadoff Comments On JFC Signing Off On School Funding Increase

A local school district superintendent is glad to see the state’s Joint Finance Committee sign off on the Governor’s proposed $639 million increase in funding for K-12 public schools in the state budget. The money would be spread out over two years. North Fond du Lac Schools Superintendent Aaron Sadoff points out that the legislature will be investing in the education of students who are the future of the state. Sadoff says he is not the only public school official that was advocating for more funding. Other superintendents and school board members from across the state were also pushing for more funding to teach kids. The funding increase is part of the state budget, which still has to be approved by the Assembly, Senate and signed into law by the Governor.
