Sadoff Employee Injured In Fall
Flight for Life flew a Sadoff Iron & Metal employee to a Milwaukee Area Hospital after that employee fell some distance into machinery at the Fond du Lac plant yesterday afternoon. Fire Department Lieutenant Rick Gerritson says after they prepared the man for a ride in the ambulance they took him to a landing zone in the MAG Giddings & Lewis parking lot where Flight for Life was waiting. He says Sadoff employees were a tremendous help in the effort in getting metal out of the way so they could get their equipment closer to the patient and taken him to the waiting helicopter. Gerritson says they were called to the plant at 4:45 p.m. The man’s injuries were said to be life-threatening.
