Scalise Return Gives Republicans A Lift

Congressman Steve Scalise’s return to Congress should give Republicans in the House a lift. Scalise was shot during a baseball practice in June. Congressman Glenn Grothman says if you are a conservative or are fiscally conservative you should be glad to see the return of the House Republican Whip. Grothman feels Scalise’s voice was missed and some of the things that happened in the house during his absence may not have occurred. Grothman says Scalise’s return was emotional and he talked about the power of prayer and how it helped him through multiple surgeries. Scalise is walking with the aid of a cane.
