School Choice Differences

North Fond du Lac Schools Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says the school choice program is here to stay and we have to work together to educate the children of the state. He says there is no real hard data on whether the voucher program is having an educational impact. He says schools do really well and vouchers and private education isn’t really having a tremendous impact if it is in a positive way, but we are in a situation where we have to figure out a way to work together. He says State Senator Luther Olsen the chair of the Senate’s Education Committee probably put it best in a reference to Act 10 years ago. Olsen said “Things are never as good as they say nor are they as bad.” Sadoff says running two education systems and funding them is difficult because the state has a lot of other needs.
