SCOTUS Declines Dassey Case

The US Supreme Court will not be voicing their opinions on the Brendan Dassey case. Like usual, the justices did not explain why they declined to take the case – leaving in place a lower court ruling against Dassey. Dassey’s attorneys argue the then-16-year old  was pressured into a false confession about the death of Teresa Halbach more than a decade ago, and want a new trial. Prosecutors say Dassey’s mother allowed investigators to speak with him – and that investigators only used standard techniques during the interrogation.
