Senator Johnson On State Of The Union Address

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson found both good and bad in President Barack Obama’s final State of the Union address. Johnson says he was encouraged that the president spoke of regulatory reform. Johnson was less enthused with the president’s views on national security and he feels our enemies will test us over the next 12 months. He says Iran, China, North Korea and Russia will push us. Johnson says he’s concerned that a strategy hasn’t been laid out to defeat Isis. He’s also concerned about the president’s stance on saving Social Security. He says the president is kicking the can down the road on the matter when Social Security needs to be protected.
