Seven Arrested in Connection to Burglary Spree Near UW-Oshkosh

Seven people, including four juveniles, are now in custody
in connection to a rash of burglaries and a car theft near the UW-Oshkosh
campus. Reports began rolling in early last month about burglaries and
attempted burglaries in neighborhoods around the campus area – most of them
happening at night, hitting easy targets like unlocked cars and open windows
and garages.

Four juveniles were arrested on charges including party to the
crime of burglary, receiving stolen property, and operating a motor vehicle
without consent. Three men ranging in age from 20 to 26 years old were arrested
on suspicion of receiving stolen property. The names of those arrested have yet
to be released, as charges have not been officially filed.
