Sheboygan County Fire
Sheboygan County Sheriff’s officials say their emergency dispatcher center received a call at 11:53 p.m. Friday night about an out of control fire that had spread to a utility trailer in the Cascade area. The caller was not familiar with the area so the emergency dispatcher used GPS coordinates from the caller to determine the fire was in the N3200 block of Rock Road in the Town of Lyndon. A second caller confirmed the location of the fire and said the blaze involved a box style van not a utility trailer. Deputies and the Cascade Fire Department were dispatched. When deputies arrived they a found a person who had suffered some burn injuries trying to the put out the fire. That person was taken by Plymouth ambulance to St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
