Shoplifter Who Assaulted Kohl Security Officer Bound Over For Trial

The 32-year-old former Berlin woman who assaulted a security officer at Kohl’s in Fond du Lac and fled the store with about $500 in merchandise has been bound over for trial. Patricia Bushey was in Fond du Lac County Court Thursday for a preliminary hearing. She’s charged with one count of felony retail theft and three misdemeanors including one count of battery and two counts of resisting arrest for the April 18th incident. Bushey got out of the parking lot at the Forest Mall onto North Pioneer Road that day where police blocked her vehicle off and took her into custody by smashing a window. She’s now living in Wisconsin Rapids.
