Stabbing In Waupun

Update:

Waupun’s Police Chief says they were very cautious entering a home in the 500 block of West Brown Street where an 18-year-old Randolph man was stabbed early Sunday morning. The man was stabbed in the arm and needed a number of stitches. He was treated at Waupun Memorial Hospital. Police Chief Dale Heeringa says they have had some history with the home in the past few years. He says it is a bunch of very irresponsible people in a residential area causing a disturbance that more or less terrorized the whole neighborhood. Waupun Police teamed up with the Dodge County Sheriff’s SWAT Team to enter the home. He says a flash bang explosive was used and the team forcibly went through the front door of the home. An 18-year-old Waupun man was arrested for the stabbing. Two other Waupun residents were arrested for probation violations. The owner of the home was questioned and released. Heeringa says the folding knife that may have been used in the stabbing, and drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in the home.
