State Unemployment Rate Lowest Since November Of 2000

State officials say Wisconsin’s unemployment rate of 3.7 percent in February is the state’s lowest rate since November of 2000. The rate fell two-tenths of a percent since January. The national jobless rate last month was 4.7 percent.  Department of Workforce Development Secretary Ray Allen says the state added 10,400 private-sector jobs in January and preliminary numbers for February show an increase of 7,600 more private-sectors jobs.
