Stevens Point Man Sentenced For FDL Bank Robbery And Others

The 39-year-old Stevens Point man who robbed Hometown Bank in Fond du Lac and five other banks and credits union across the state has been sentenced to 10 years in a federal prison. Jason Kiedrowski robbed Hometown Bank on March 24th, 2015 the same day State Patrol Trooper Trevor Casper was shot and killed in a fatal exchange of gunfire with another bank robbery suspect Steven Snyder in Fond du Lac. Hometown Bank is located just up the street from where the shoot out occurred. In August Kiedrowski pled guilty to a federal larceny charge.  The other banks and credit unions he robbed were in Appleton, De Pere, Eau Claire, Grand Chute, and Janesville. All six of the bank robberies happened in 2015.
