Storms Move Through
Thunderstorms moved through the state late last night and early this morning causing wind damage and dumping heavy rain. The Fond du Lac Fire Department responded to a fire at 893 Forest Circle last night. The fire was contained to the outside of the structure. The fire was reported about 12:20 a.m. It’s not known yet if it was a result of the storms. Elsewhere there were two reports of tornadoes in the Madison area. Heavy wind damage was reported in West Bend. In the Green Bay area thousands were without power this morning. In Oshkosh winds gusted up to nearly 60 miles an hour. At our KFIZ studios we received about 1.4 inches of rain since late Monday night.
