Strong Armed Robbery
The Fond du Lac Police Department continues its investigation into a strong armed robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon. On Wednesday, July 17, at 2:48 p.m. officers were called to the area of 5th and Ellis Streets for a report of a strong armed robbery. The victim a 39-year old Fond du Lac woman and her 63-year old mother also from Fond du Lac are both wheelchair bound and were traveling east bound on the south side of 5th street when they were approached by three white males. One of the males said hi and as he was passing grabbed the victim’s purse off her lap and took off running. The three male subjects were last seen heading south on Ellis Street. The victim was not injured.
The three suspects were described as white males between 18 to 20 years of age. One was last seen wearing a white tank top with unknown color shorts and blond hair, the second was last seen wearing a blue shirt and had brown hair, no description was provided on the third suspect.

A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the individuals involved.
