Student Arrested After Posting Threat Toward Sheboygan School on Social Media

A 15-year-old has been arrested after posting a threat
towards Sheboygan South High School on social media. A parent told Sheboygan Police
their child had seen a post referencing a threat to the school that would take
place on Tuesday. Officers investigated the threat and identified the
15-year-old student who was responsible for the post. Investigators determined
the threat was not credible and that there is no threat to the school or
community. The student arrested was referred to juvenile authorities. Police
and the Sheboygan School District say they take those types of threats very
seriously, and ask parents to remind their children about the seriousness of those
threats and the ramifications kids can face for making them.
