Suspect Arrested In FDL Burglaries

Fond du Lac Police have arrested a 31-year-old Fond du Lac man suspected in a pair of recent burglaries. The burglaries at Mike’s Music and Eaton’s Pizza were reported Saturday and Tuesday mornings respectively. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says the man was arrested Wednesday. Police got a report from a local pawn shop Tuesday afternoon about a man who had brought in some musical equipment trying to sell it. The equipment reportedly matched the description of some of the equipment taken in the Mike’s Music burglary. He had left before police got there, but they caught up with him after a short foot chase. Klein says he was arrested for the burglary to Eaton’s Pizza, and retail theft incidents at Walgreens and Walmart, that occurred the same day as the Eaton’s Pizza incident. He was also arrested for possession of stolen property from the Mike’s incident and resisting arrest. He has not been arrested for the Mike’s burglary and that investigation is ongoing.
