Suspect Sought In Pursuit And Three Vehicle Thefts
Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies pursued a reckless driving suspect for 11.5 miles late Saturday night. Sheriff’s officials say it began as a reckless driver report at 10:26 p.m. and a few minutes later a deputy tried to stop the driver on State Highway 175. The driver wouldn’t pull over and the pursuit ended when the driver lost control and entered a ditch in Dodge County. The vehicle had been stolen in the City of Berlin. The driver of the vehicle fled on foot and took another vehicle in the vicinity of the crash. The second vehicle was then found in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Oakfield. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a third stolen vehicle from that area. The vehicle was then observed in Dodge County. The driver of the third vehicle is still at large. There were no injuries reported. Sheriff’s officials are asking anyone with information on the incidents to call the Sheriff’s Office at (920) 929-3390.
