Suspicious Fire in North Fond du Lac

North Fond du Lac Police are looking into a small fire that was started at a vacant lot along Lakeshore Drive on Sunday. It was at the site of the former Lagoon Supper Club. Firefighters quickly knocked out the blaze, which had ignited several illegal mattresses that were dumped on the property. No other damage was reported. Witnesses nearby report seeing a silver or gray Mitsubishi leaving the area at a high rate of speed just before the fire was noticed.
