Suspicious Incident Reported In FDL

Update:

Fond du Lac Police have identified the boys who approached an 11-year-old girl late Wednesday morning and offered her candy. The girl was walking in the area of Willsher Drive and Wakefield Avenue when a mini-van pulled up and a teenage boy opened a side door and offered her the candy. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says a parent of one of the three boys called them Wednesday night after hearing about the incident. He says that parent gave them information that led to the boys and the van that was used. He says the teens didn’t mean any harm by what they had done. He says the preliminary indication is that they were just “goofing around.” The girl was not hurt.  She ran to a nearby home and police were called.
