Third Man Charged In FDL County Heroin Overdose Death

Bond has been set at $250,000 for a 66-year-old Milwaukee man who sold heroin that contributed to the overdose death of a Town of Springvale man. Alonzo Cornelius was charged in Fond du Lac County Court Thursday morning with 1st degree reckless homicide and conspiracy to commit manufacture or delivery of heroin greater then 50 grams. Both are as a party to a crime. According to the criminal complaint an autopsy showed Devin Perry died of mixed drug intoxication that included heroin on October 12th of 2012.  The heroin Perry used was traced back to Cornelius. Two others 40-year-old Jason Van Norman of Fond du Lac and 27-year-old Joshua Mulder of Waupun are facing similar charges for their roles in Perry’s death. Cornelius is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on December 11th.
