Threat At FDL High School Was Not Credible

Fond du Lac Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says they did resolve an incident at the High School Tuesday, but a post on Snapchat fueled concerns at the school the following day. He says there was an extra police presence at the school Wednesday for the safety of students, parents and staff. He says the incident in a lunchroom Tuesday and the post on Snapchat afterwards about a “revolution” were separate incidents involving different students and both were dealt with. He says no credible threat was made. Klein says unfortunately a student texted a parent Wednesday that someone might be in the school with a gun. He says those rumors weren’t true, but caused more fear.
