Threat At Fondy High

Update:

Officials at Fond du Lac High School have learned the identity of the students responsible for a written threat that was found in a hall way Wednesday afternoon. Principal Michelle Hagen sent out a voice mail to parents updating them on the situation. She said they found out Thursday morning who was responsible for the note. She says through a conversation they were able to find out the students involved. She says there was no intent to harm students, but the seriousness of making the threat will be addressed.  She also thanked parents for their support. Hagen also said students and staff should be complimented on maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment.

There will be an increased law enforcement presence at Fond du Lac High School Thursday. Principal Michelle Hagen sent parents emails and voicemail late Wednesday afternoon informing them of a threat a school staff member had discovered in a note in a hallway. The threat was for Thursday, January 12th. Police and school administration investigated and don’t believe the threat is credible. School will be conducted as usual, but with an increased presence of Fond du Lac Police. Hagen says student and school staff safety is of the utmost importance to them and they take all threats seriously even if they don’t consider them credible.
