Three Drug Suspects Arrested

Three Fond du Lac men were arrested during the execution
of a “no knock” high risk warrant late Friday night at 42 South Street. Police
says the three were 20, 30 and 39 years old and are facing a number of
drug-related charges including cocaine trafficking and maintaing a drug house.
The residence was the scene of a shooting incident outside the home on September
9th. No one was hurt in the incident. A 21-year-old Fond du Lac man who is a
person of interest in the shooting was arrested on September 17th on unrelated
drug charges and is current being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on a
$5,000 cash bond for cocaine trafficking. SWAT teams from the police department
and Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the serving of the
warrant. Also providing help were investigators with the Lake Winnebago Area MEG
Unit, K-9 units from the Fond du Lac and Waupun Police Departments, and the City
Fire Department. Police Chief Bill Lamb says, “Tonight’s operation should serve
to reinforce our strong message to those that choose to sell illegal drugs in
our Community, that their illegal activities will not be tolerated.” Anyone who
suspects illegal drug activity in their neighborhood is strongly encouraged to
call the police department’s non-emergency number at 906-5555 or the Crime Alert
number at 906-4777.
