Three Hurt In Car Accident

On Monday September 1st
at 5:44 pm the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle
traffic crash on Brown Road south of Willow Creek Road in the Township of Waupun.  Evidence at the scene indicates the vehicle
was traveling south on Brown Road when the operator of the vehicle swerved to
miss an animal. The driver of the vehicle, an 18 year old male from the Waupun area
lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn several times.  The driver was ejected and pinned underneath
the vehicle.  He was then flown by Flight
for Life to Theda Clark Hospital with serious injurious.

 

 Also in the vehicle was a 17 female from the Plymouth
area who was transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital by Lifestar Ambulance, then
transported to UW Hospital by Med Flight with serious injuries.  The third occupant, a 24 year old female from
the Waupun area was transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital by Lifestar
Ambulance with non-life threating injuries.

 

None of the occupants in the
vehicle were wearing seat belts.

 

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s
Office is continuing their investigation of the traffic crash.  Assisting at the scene were Waupun and
Rosendale Fire Departments, Lifestar Ambulance and Flight for Life.
