Three Injured In Dodge County Crash

Three people were injured including a 3 ½ year old child in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 151 in Dodge County Sunday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials say in happened on Highway 151 southbound near Salem Road in the Town of Calamus. Thirty-three-year-old Amy Galica of Oshkosh was heading north when her car went into a counter clockwise spin. It slid through the median and into the southbound lanes. Thirty-year-old Timothy Mcessey of Middleton was in the left inside traffic lane and the two vehicles collided. The impact caused Galica’s car to split apart throwing the child, who was in a car seat, out of the vehicle. The child was taken to Children’s Hospital in Madison. Flight for Life flew Galica to the UW-Hospital in Madison with serious injuries, and Mcessey was taken to Columbus Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The accident was reported just before 4 p.m.
