Tornado Siren Malfunction Wednesday in FDL

People living on the south side
of the City of Fond du Lac
may have heard a tornado siren go off during Wednesday night’s wet weather. But
County Communications and Emergency Management
Director Bobbi Hicken says that happened because of a problem with the siren
and not because of severe weather. She says maintenance crews will inspect the
equipment today. The strongest storms stayed in southern Wisconsin
last night, although Severe Thunderstorm warnings were issued for the southern
portions of Dodge and Washington
Counties
at one point
Wednesday evening.
