Trial Set for Chicago Man Accused in Dodge County Burglaries

A Chicago man accused of taking part in an armed burglary in the Dodge County town of Herman is now heading to trial. 28-year old Travis White waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Thursday. He faces one felony count of Armed Burglary with a Dangerous Weapon.

White is believed to have been involved in several residential burglaries – and was arrested after police found his car in the driveway of a home in the town. A loaded handgun was reportedly found on his body at the time. The driver of his vehicle has yet to be charged.

White is set to return to court on October 17th. He faces up to 15 years behind bars.
