Two Charged in Random Assaults Near UW Oshkosh

Two Green Bay men appeared in court this week – for the first time since police say they assaulted four UW-Oshkosh students earlier this month. 20-year old Domonick Strope and 18-year old Nasir Jackson are each charged with three counts of substantial battery and a count of theft as parties to a crime. Strope also has twenty felony bail jumping charges.

They were allegedly part of a group of three men who attacked students just off of campus around 1:00am the morning of September 8th. The third man has yet to be charged.

Police tracked down Jackson through Snapchat – after he exchanged information with a victim before attacking the man and a woman who was with him.

Strope – who has nine other cases open against him, including four felonies, had bond set at $100,000. Jackson’s was set at $5,000. Both men are set to appear in court on September 27th
