Two Deaths Connected to Synthetic Marijuana in Wisconsin

The Department of Justice says a pair of deaths in Wisconsin may be connected to the use of tainted fake weed. The deaths are not confirmed to be caused by the synthetic marijuana products, but severe bleeding and evidence at the scene led authorities to believe it may have been related to the products laced with rat poison.

Over a dozen Wisconsin residents have been hospitalized in similar cases. State Attorney General Brad Schimel is asking retailers to stop selling synthetic cannabinoid products. Anyone caught selling fake weed in Wisconsin could face possible prison time.
