Two Face Charges for Hiding Body of Overdose Victim
A teen and a woman are accused of hiding the body of an overdose
victim in the wall crawlspace of a
home. Police responded to the home along
for the report of an overdose – but did not find anyone.
Two days later, police
received a tip that the victim may be hidden in the home. Officers then found
the body of 30-year old Matthew Mercure inside the wall. Investigators are
referring charges against a 16-year old boy and 29-year old woman who they
believe witnessed the overdose, panicked, and then hid the body.
