Two FDL Residents Charged With Animal Mistreatment Bound Over For Trial

Two of the three Fond
du Lac
residents charged for mistreatment of a pit
bull they kept recently waived their preliminary hearings in Fond du Lac County Court.
Thirty-two-year-old Amy Shaw and 51-year-old Daniel Eisenach were in court last
Friday. The third person allegedly involved, 30-year-old Amanda Muellenbach, is
charged with aiding a felon. According to the criminal complaint a Fond du Lac woman bought
the dog as a Christmas present. She noticed a gash on the dog that was
infected. A leash was supposedly kept on the pit bull so the defendants didn’t
have to chase him in the backyard. It had been on the dog since it was a puppy
and became embedded in the dog’s skin.
