Two Hurt In Dodge County Accident

Two people were hurt when their pickup truck rolled over and was hit by a semi in the Town of Lomira late Sunday morning. Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say 45-year-old Tammy Ragsdale of Kenosha was driving her Dodge Dakota north on Highway 41 when she lost control and the pickup entered the median. It rolled multiple times and slid into the southbound lane where it was struck by a semi driven by 27-year-old Andrew Fritchen of Kansasville, Ragsdale was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with serious injuries and was later transferred to Theda Clark Medical Center. Her passenger, 50-year-old Richard Ballwanz of Waukesha, suffered serious injuries and also ended up at Theda. The semi driver wasn’t injured.  Freezing rain was moving through the area at the time of the accident, which occurred at 10:46 a.m. near the State Highway 49 overpass.
