Two People in Custody After a Stabbing in the Town of Byron

Two people are in custody after stabbing at a home in the
Town of Byron Saturday night. The Fond du Lac County Communications Center
first received a call saying a man had been stabbed at a home on Kenyon Road at
10:47 pm. Deputies responded to the scene, but were unable to make contact with
anyone in the home. The Sheriff’s Office armored vehicle was called to the
scene and requests were made over its loud speaker for people in the home to
come outside. After a short period of time, a man with an apparent stab wound
to the upper chest and arm area came outside. He was transported to SSM Health
(St. Agnes) in Fond du Lac for treatment. After an initial investigation, a
38-year-old man from Fond du Lac was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery
and suffocation. A 34-year-old woman from Fond du Lac was also taken into
custody on charges of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety,
substantial battery and disorderly conduct. No one else was injured in the
incident.
