Two Ripon Men Die While Hunting in Separate Cases
A Ripon man died while hunting last weekend in Marquette County. Authorities responded to a wooded area near Montello around 2:30pm Sunday afternoon to find 50-year old Dion Krueger unresponsive. His death is not considered suspicious or gun-related, and the Marquette County sheriff expects an autopsy to show the death was natural.
An 84-year old Ripon man also died of natural causes while hunting on Saturday. That man was identified as Herbert Jorgensen, who was reportedly hunting on his own land in Poy Sippi at the time.
