Two Vehicles End Up In Water In Washington County

Washington County Sheriff’s officials investigated two accidents early last Sunday morning in which vehicles ended up partially submerged in waterways. A 40-year-old Town of Farmington man told deputies he swerved to avoid a raccoon and put his van into some high water off Jay Road in the Town of Farmington. The second accident involved a 26-year-old West Bend man who failed to stop at a stop sign on County Highway K and hit a pier ending up in 3 to 4 feet of water 30 feet from shore. He was cited for his 4th drunken driving offense.
