UW-Fond du Lac Student Receives Leaders of Promise Scholarship

FOND DU LAC, Wis. UW-Fond du Lac student Nicole
Mader, Chilton, has been selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship from Phi
Theta Kappa Honor Society as a 2015 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar.
Mader is pursuing an Associate of Arts and Science Degree at
UW-Fond du Lac with an emphasis in communications. She plans to transfer to a
four-year UW school to complete a bachelor’s degree in early childhood
education.
Students are selected
for these scholarships based on outstanding academic achievement, community
service and leadership potential. The Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholarship
Program provides new Phi Theta Kappa members with financial resources to help
defray educational expenses while enrolled in associate degree programs.
Scholars are also encouraged to assume leadership roles by participating in
Society programs.
Phi Theta Kappa is the
largest honor society in higher education with 1,285 chapters on college
campuses.
