Voter Turnout Expected To Be Higher In FDL County

Fond du Lac County Clerk Lisa Freiberg is expecting a heavier voter turnout than what state elections officials are predicting. State elections officials are expecting about 13 to 18 percent turnout across the state while Freiberg is predicting about a 30 percent turnout in the County. She says there are 26 contested races and a schools referendum in North Fond du Lac. She says the one thing that could keep voters away from the polls is voter fatigue. She says this is the sixth election in the past 15 months. KFIZ will have reports on the results after the polls close during the Milwaukee Brewers game and the results will also be posted on this website.
