Walker On John Doe Decisions

Governor Scott Walker apparently hasn’t been losing much sleep over a John Doe probe into alleged illegal campaign coordination during Wisconsin’s recall elections. He says it’s a sideshow attraction and he hasn’t lost focus of what people hired him to do.A federal judge ruled this week that an investigation into whether conservative groups coordinated with GOP candidates violated the First Amendment rights of those organizations. Late yesterday a federal appeals court ordered a stay of Judge Rudolph Randa’s decision ordering prosecutors to drop their investigation. Walker expected that appeal but, he says he hopes it’s the beginning of the end so people can get back on to the more important business of the state of Wisconsin. Walker says has not been “worked up” about the ongoing investigation, calling it “just one more thing to deal with.”
