Walker On Opponents And Big Money

Governor Walker isn’t surprised at the number of Democratic candidates hoping to unseat him in next November’s election. He told KFIZ News the sheer number of candidates says something about party unity and the quality of the people running. He says it suggests to him that they are not satisfied with their current list of candidates. Walker feels if a Democrat is elected it will set the state back. He says those candidates are to the far left of the party and will take Wisconsin back to the days when we had double-digit tax increases, billion dollar budget deficits, and record job loss. The thing that does concern him is the outside groups that will spend hundreds of millions of dollars to try and unseat him. When Walker made a campaign stop at Brenner Tank in Fond du Lac last week he talked about a grass roots approach to get him elected to a third term.
