Walker Supporting Legislation to Weaken Democrats, Evers in Lame Duck Session

Governor Scott Walker is leaving office just like he arrived – making an impact. Walker immediately killed a high speed rail through Wisconsin just days after being elected, and announced his anti-union Act Ten proposal just weeks later. Now on his way out, he’s showing support for Republican proposals designed to weaken Democrats and incoming governor-elect Tony Evers.

Meanwhile, Evers is keeping a low profile and has no plans to make demands of Walker, as Walker did to outgoing Democratic Governor Jim Doyle back in 2010. A spokesman for Evers says he will not be making demands because “that’s just not his style.”
