Walker Wins Third Election In Four Years

Governor Scott Walker credits his big re-election win on being for a better Wisconsin. For the third time in four years, Walker won an election for governor. Speaking to supporters in West Allis, the Republican said his opponent campaigned on being against his policies, while he focused on a goal of building a better Wisconsin. In her concession speech, Mary Burke thanked everyone from her parents, to siblings, to nieces, and friends. She got a little emotional when she thanked her campaign staff. Burke congratulated the governor on a “hard fought victory.” She said they don’t agree on much, but she respects his work and sacrifice. In other state races Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel won the Attorney General’s race. Doug La Follette keeps his seat as Secretary of State and Republican Matt Adamczyk will be the next State Treasurer.
