Warmer Temps and Rain on Tap for This Week

After some more wintry weather this weekend, it looks like we’ll be seeing significant snow melting this week. The National Weather Service forecast calls for sunshine and temperatures in the low 30s for today, and more sunshine with highs near 40 on Tuesday. As a storm moves in for mid-week, look for temperatures to then climb to the mid-40s for Wednesday, and possibly the upper 50s for Thursday. That storm won’t bring snow, but rain – with an inch to an inch and a half of rainfall expected for Tuesday night through Thursday night. The weather service says additional rainfall on top of snow melt and previous rainfall may cause some rivers to reach minor flood stage by later this week.
