Washington County Bank Robbery
Washington County authorities are
looking for a man who robbed the National Exchange Bank in the Town of Addison
Friday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials say the bank’s hold up alarm was activated
at 4:40 p.m. The suspect had fled the scene before deputies arrived. Bank
employees told deputies a masked man had entered the bank with a handgun and
demanded money. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
There were no customers in the bank at the time of the robbery and no bank
employees were injured during the incident.
