Washington County Squad Car Struck

A Washington County Sheriff’s squad
car was struck on Highway 45 in the Town of Polk while running radar early
Saturday morning. Sheriff’s officials say the squad car was parked on the
shoulder of the road when another vehicle crossed over the fog line and struck
the rear of the squad car. The two occupants of the vehicle and the deputy were
taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend for treatment of minor injuries and
were released The State Patrol is investigating the accident, which occurred at
3:45 a.m.
